We have flooded fields much like rice fields and soybean fields. |
| We have sloughs to train your dog on. By the way,
this slough is called "Mallard Slough." |

We have flooded timber to get your dog acclimated to swimming by logs,
stumps and stick ups before going hunting and having a difficult time. |
| We have buck bushes for your dog to
learn how to spot ducks within the bushes. |

We have open water. So many times a young dog will be overwhelmed with big
water -- when he or she looks out across open water to them it is like having to swim an ocean.
An ocean is overwhelming to us!!! |
| We have pot holes to teach your dog to go through the pot hole and
search on the shore since so many ducks land on the land instead of in the water. |
